These drugs are believed to operate using different mechanisms of action, and therefore are administered in combination with the objective of improving success rates over single-drug treatments. Based on its evaluation of the mechanisms responsible for erectile function, the Company believes that the use of Vasomax in combination with certain other drugs which possess different mechanisms of action may yield improved erectile response in some men. The Company completed a rising dose study of a possible combination therapy in 10 healthy individuals in Mexico in the fourth quarter of 1997.
