I own LEAP puts 1/00 on US banks with Asian exposure like derrivative (JPM, CCI, CMB & BT) way out of the money. I feel that since the banking sector has run up over the last 3 years.
Also if you look at the charts for these banks since October you can buy a 0/01 LEAP put at their October price for a small premium. My thinking is if Korea # 11 rocked the markets in October, wait to Korea, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Y2K, Interest rates start to be felt.
Look for those companies that do a lot of business with Asia and buy the LEAPS.
