CS - >>this is solidly in junk-bond territory. << That sums it up nicely- I truly believe that in a short while , the buyers of this crap will look like idiots - AMZN has just borrowed more than twice their REVENUES for the past year , burns cash like crazy , and the issue was oversubscribed - go figure.
What a strange world , when a bond like this goes out at 10% with no equity kicker (so far as we know) - makes me think there's a hidden deal or something crooked in play. Or maybe just so much money chasing so much hype......
BTW , if anyone is interested - you can short bonds , too ! Might be something to look at , as a triple play on rising interest rates , bubble bursting , and reality coming back into focus on the internet issues.
