OK, I'll admit that I would have been tickled pink had Apple gapped open on its way to 32 or 33 for the day. It didn't happen, and in retrospect, this is most likely very healthy for the stock. A little bit of basing at this point will only add to the power of the coming upside move, IMHO.

Hmmm. Was that Apple logo blue? A Big Blue Apple logo. Hmmm.

Barnhart sez: A new Apple logo is my guess for the Whoa.

Seems like a pretty lame "whoah". I think the Apple logo from the main apple page is just a teaser of the new glowing white apple on the lid of the new powerbook(s). I think the industrial designer were grossed out by the thought of a rainbow hued piece of plastic ruing the dark perfection of the new case and went with a simpler, more elegant translucent white plastic one. It may have also been a manufacturing issue - creating a 6 colored piece of plastic that was strong enough to survive finger poking was too hard and a translucent decal would probably fade and/or peel off after a year in a warm location.

See what happens when you start to analyze the crumbs? You go MAD...
