Hello, Peter and all. I am new to this thread and very interested in WSTL because of the huge DSL potentials. However, I am bothered by the significant insider selling as recently as in March of this year. WSTL is expecting to lose money for the next several quarters, however, DSL seems becoming popular at an accelerated pace. I would appreciate it if anyone will kindly offer any perspectives on the insider selling phenomenon and other related issues? Regards, Baoho

[ Interop ] Westell has their CAP/DMT DSLAM at the show. They have ~5 CAP line cards in one side, with 2 lines/card, and 3 TI DMT line cards in the other side,with 2 lines/card. The TI cards take 2 slots at the present time and the CAP cards take 1 slot. By years end the TI solution will fit into one slot. They have a second rack with FlexCAP only cards.. ie. ~2Meg down/~1Meg up... The TI booth has the Allegro DSLAM units, ie. LSI silicon. Their is one Westell supervision modem at the TI booth. I guess it's communicating with WSTL/DMT/TI line card in the Westell booth.... same for LU. I saw the LU DSLAM.... it has 8 lines/card... big cards... and it holds 96 lines/shelf. This is an IP only solution... it's not going to compete against the Westell end-to-end ATM solution. ohh.. the DSLAM isn't working yet... 1 or 2 months away. Aware had their G.lite modem... they still need to work some bugs outs. The video seems to freeze and start again.... they are working on it. I have to run... until later.
