Hi Purething,

I would highly recommend you subscribe to Sudhir's newsletter for a full explanation.

Here's the math for the bulk sample dyke...

1000 meters along strong, average width of 2.47 meters, 2,000 meters down dip = 4,940,000 cubic meters (1000 * 2000 * 2.47)

Density of kimberlite is 2.2 tons/cubic meter. Therefore...

4,940,000 * 2.2 = 10.8 million tons of the green stuff

It is too early for WSP to come out and say anything about this yet. They will do the responsible thing and continue poking holes before any estimates come out. They may not say anything about this till the end of the summer program.

I believe that RT's number to you of approx. 5 million was BEFORE the winter program extended the dyke.

Makes sense?

Chris A.
