GWM, I agree with you. SQL Server is here to stay. The company I work for is buying into SQL Server bigtime, for the next generation of three tier client server apps. We still use Oracle for PeopleSoft, but everything else on the horizon is SQL Server. The scary thing for Oracle is that Microsoft is getting a large foothold with software developers. Many developers are listing SQL Server as their preferred database. I still like Oracle, but they are at critical crossroad.

People never thought Netware would be replaced by the upstart operating system called NT.
