TO ALL
I received a copy of the Dick Davis Digest from my broker dated 20 Apr 1998. here is what it says about Gold.

"The gold stock index made a long-term bottom in January, and is now in a recovery pattern," says Bob Dickey (Technical Update, Dain Rauscher, 4/1/98). "Long term momentum and relative strength are improving for the first time in over a year, as one by one, the individual stocks are beginning some bullish trends. Since the gold index was in a bearish trend for the two years, it can be expected that the recovery will also take much time to develop. Meanwhile, at least it appears that the stocks have bottomed and now have relatively low risk."

Currently demand for gold in the U.S. is up 9%, In India, demand for gold surged 45% in 1997. Uncertainties surrounding the new European currency should also increase gold demand. New purchases of gold in Japan are outpacing sales by 4 to 1. This leads us to one conclusion: gold's current lull is about to give way to a powerful bull market.

That is about it besides listing a few mines he recommends which I am not listing if you want them email me in the next couple of days. He also gives a listing of fee friendly direct-purchase plans if anyone wants them let me know, no mines are included in this direct-purchase plan.

Semper Fi Kings,
James

While Stone is talking to the VSE, he may want them to get rid of their rule where all stocks with a trading symbol beginning with K and a primary property beginning with F are not allowed to have momentum.....
