FYI closed out my FDX position last week at 68 and put it into CPQ at 27.5, CPQ up 18% in a week. Just have not seen anything recently that tells me FDX is the best place to be at the moment. Great company but nothing to move it right now IMHO.

It depends on whether you are a long-term or short-term investor. Most of the transportation co's have been in a downward trend the past week (ala the Dow Transportation Avg). Longer term I think that FDX is a good investment. They have the wherewithal to compete with UPS and enjoy fruits that will come from growth in internet commerce. I'm holding for the long term.

Please revisit your reasons for purchasing FDX in the first place and determine if there have been any fundamental changes. Good Luck.

I wouldn't sale now.
Does FDX have anything going short term? Not that I know. Is it a long term buy? I think so. I would not sale FDX because FDX and all transportation stocks are down about %10. They are at the end of their correction (I hope). They are down because Oil prices are up this should be short lived. However FDX chart looks very bad since we are now below 200 day Avg. line.
If the stock goes below $58 I would double my position.

FDX has got some work to do...

*Resolve labor discontent in the workforce
*Improve margins (lowest in the industry)

But the increase in the internet e-commerce and the dismantling of the USPS monopoly create a tremendous growth story 6-12 months out....

I am buying more at lower prices to keep the average down....but this is a longer term investment...

good luck,

bob
