From Briefing.com: NASD inquiry
12:00 ET ******

ENTREMED INC (ENMD) 35 5/8 -7 1/2. Not only has the New York Times report on cancer-fighting proteins Angiostatin and Endostatin caused an Internet-like frenzy in small-cap biotech stocks, but the story has indirectly ignited an NASD inquiry. According to USA Today, the NASD is looking into whether buyers of Entremed stock failed to receive key information -- like where the stock was actually trading. The publication reports that the NASD, which overseas the Nasdaq stock market, is investigating whether some EntreMed trades were reported late without proper public notification. According to Nasdaq rules, trades must be reported to the public, within 90 seconds of the trade. If not, they must be designated as out of order when reported. In pre-market trading, ENMD shares soared to $86 a share, rose a couple of points after the market opened, and then began to tumble. If early trades were reported improperly, then investors could have been misled into thinking the stock was moving higher or holding ground, when it was actually in free-fall. When it comes to making a decision to participate in a momentum trade, a downtrend versus one that is up or flat, makes all the difference in the world. Nasdaq officials told USA Today that the results of the investigation will not be known for several days, pending an analysis of cleared trades

This is too bloody. Down to 32. I think I'd give it up. Can someone tell me where the bottom is?
