You seem to have it Ali. They bought up to 14.9% to avoid triggering the rights plan. They bought enough from just two owners to get there. It was a stock swap, so they created LLCs to transact this. If they want to buy more of ARTT, they will have to negotiate around the rights plan.

<..Lucent has some financial conditions that ARTT must meet for Lucent to proceed. I think WCII comes into play here...>

Don't know about this, but it makes sense that LU would want to know how/that they would get paid for their equipment.

Maybe silicon warrier can shed more light. (Or maybe he already has)

ARTT must raise an additional 100 mil in order to trigger the LU financing.
