Dear James:

You are exaggerating my disagreement with wireless_wonk.
I was fully aware that MMDS frequencies were located slightly
higher in the spectrum than PCS, but did not know that
this relatively small difference could have such a significant
effect on propagation characteristics. Even now, I
do not believe that MMDS is as dependent on LOS
as wireless_wonk seemed to indicate. The basis for
my doubt is that the reflected and diffracted paths
are not significantly affected by precipitation.
However he is a RF engineer, I am not (my background
is in communications and signal processing, including
wave propagation, but primarily for acoustic waves).

What's your expertise by the way? You claim to be a
lawyer, but every time a legal question comes up
you remain strangely silent. Did you ever succeed
in passing the bar exam? If you did, are you as charming
with your clients as you are with everybody on this
thread? Inquiring minds want to know.

Best wishes,

Bernard Levy
