Jack, If I had a quarter million plus paper loss, I too would be upset, frustrated, pissed, crabby, tired of Vivus, wished I'd never bought 20,000 shares at 23+ etc. However, as I told you in a prior personal message, you have 2 choices: 1)Sell your shares and forget about Vivus or 2)Maintain a positive mental attitude and see if there is any reasonable rational reason why the stock can go up over $23.00/share again. If you can't do this choice or you simply refuse to see anything that may be a positive for your investment then you need to do 1). I believe Vivus will be a $20.00+ stock by the end of this year or else I would not have bought shares in this company. I also am fed up with the constant lawyer anti-vivus advertising and the fact that Vivus management has zero for a PR department. Many piss poor companies with no earnings toot their horns well and the lemmings just follow. This IMO defines hype. Vivus management does not hype itself by choice because it is not this companies style and yet the company is being sued for allegedly "making bullish statements about it's product and it's acceptance by ED patients". I am sorry for your loses and associated frustrations but most of us are in the same boat. We can rock the boat or even attempt to tip it over or we can make the best of it and contribute in a constructive manner. Read Mikes post. It is positive, constructive and the reason why many of us bought into this stock. The traders are f@#$%ing with this stock on a daily basis and that is why the price is so erratic. Shorters have raped this stock repeatedly but sooner or later the shorting game will end and we will hopefully have some type of price stability and a base to work off of.
