Paul, Wonder why Intel doesn't try to gain market share from AMD in flash, through price reductions. if AMD's flash revenue (about 50% of AMD's revenue) decreases, AMD wont in a few months won't be able to borrow money from the public to finance Jerry's extravagant life style. Stockman

Intel Investor - Regarding DEC, Compaq and Intel Why doesn't this statement - concerning DEC and the Compaq merger - surprise me? {===============================} techweb.com "When considering the recommendation of the Digital board of directors, you should be aware that Digital directors and officers may have interests in the merger that differ from the interests of Digital stockholders generally," the company said in a note to stockholders. In a separate filing Wednesday, Digital said its CEO, Robert Palmer, will get nearly $6.5 million in cash if he is let go by Compaq.
