Anyone have an opinion on Coca Cola Amatil?

The price went up 50 Ac on the day Suharto resigned - very sensitive to Asian conditions which aren't going anywhere. Snack consumption has been badly hit in Thailand for example. Over last year on ASX it has been up to $A17.40 and is currently $A11.85 with a P/E of 37.6 Given the average P/E here is 18 or so that is pretty dodgy. Note that it is not a holding of First State Fund Managers - the best Australian Equities manager.

I own three Australian stocks directly - Telstra, Colonial, and AAPT - 2 telecoms and one insurance/finance/bank (they own First State).
