<<And I came to the conclusion that over 1 in 50 new CheckFree Accounts are coming from that Bank on a Hard Drive with no Branch overhead? Growing at 18% a month while the rest of the Financial Industry Crawls along at 5% and 12% a Quarter.>>

If this ratio is accurate, it reflects a rapid systemic change going on in banking. By failing to quickly adopt electronic delivery, banks lose market share and risk going OUT OF BUSINESS. Tomorrow's big customers rarely see the insides of branches today. CKFR needs to better tell their bank customers this story.

The funny thing is that the industry still doesn't get it. Look at
First Tennessee National Bank. In their press release they claim to be "the first Java-enabled suite of Internet banking". Who cares about Java, I want good rates! Since First Tenn is owned by a large 'OLD-Fashioned' Bank, I don't think we'll be seeing good rates, or the 'No Bricks and Mortar' comments from them.
