[AXC response] An interesting dilema. Huge technical expertise & patent catalogue. Best Large Volume, high speed storage (their DST line) Pending huge royalty stream depending on resolution of 3 patent infringement vs Mitsu. Lots of potental royalty from HDTV related patents depending on solutions choosen my players & success with the Mitsu suit (their perceived ability to successfully take on the big boys) Compelling technology for cheaply increasing disk capacity and data integrity that they can't seem to place with a key player (had a contract with a manufacturer, then industry went MR faster than predicted, had a contract with Maxtor thenthe Asian thing hit) Best indicator is CEO. He bought a load before I first bought in. tok profits at 100%, sold rest at >3x. :) Bought back in after the KM excitement faded. Should have sold when he did last summer :(( He's bought back in again. So technical inovation is clearly there, ability to control costs is there, ability to litigate and market current technologies is the big ?? Scott Off topic, did not intend to get into the huge running battle on the TRIBY thread, but the additional dilition, flat EPS and selection of OTC on the same day was REAL bad news IMSCO. Also question marks over continued minimal disclosure. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of TRIBYites who demonstrate much FA or TA expertise, let alone the ability to operate in the different sphere's simultaneously. Hope this does not come across as elitist, I could not fuse those separate diciplines 2 years ago, but at east I did not blow off attempts of others to do so.
