Lightbridge Names Industry Veteran Brian Connolly Executive Officer and Senior Vice President; Connolly Joins the Company to Oversee Worldwide Sales and Marketing Operations May 11, 1998 9:59 AM EDT

BURLINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 11, 1998--Lightbridge, Inc. (NASDAQ:LTBG), a leading provider of customer acquisition and retention solutions for the global telecommunications industry, today announced it has hired Brian P. Connolly as an executive officer and senior vice president of sales and marketing. Connolly will oversee worldwide sales, marketing, alliances and account management.

Connolly brings to Lightbridge more than 20 years of diverse experience in the telecommunications industry. His experience includes providing licensed software, transaction services and consulting to landline and wireless carriers here and abroad. Most recently, Connolly held the position of vice president and chief operating officer at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). At CSC, a major provider of management consulting, information systems consulting and integration, and outsourcing to commercial and government markets, Connolly was responsible for a division that delivered software solutions and system integration to the telecommunications industry. Within five years the division's revenue increased from $25 to $120 million and its employee count expanded to 800. Additionally, Connolly has extensive experience developing business strategy and guiding overseas operations in Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to joining CSC, Connolly held several management positions at AT&T Information Systems and New England Telephone.
