RE: Mattrix...tis my understanding this is a separate division which is to be included in spin-off as well. Furthermore, when I read the press release which, incidentally I also received a hard copy of via snail mail as a shrhldr, I understood there to be a 3rd division under consideration to be included. This is why I call it the mystery division.

RE: pro-rata per share, I haven't a clue. I'm just hoping they price the IPO in the $18 or less category frankly.

Since CSN w/be retaining 80% of Convergys, yes, CSN will be favorably enhanced by said IPO. Furthermore, I suspect CSN is doing so in order to continue to provide their shareholders w/benes from the newly spun-off divisions, and will be a force to be reckoned w/in the event of any attempt at a buyout.

Frankly, I've been rather reluctant to start a CSN thread, as I've noticed for several months now, there was NO SI thread for CSN discussion. I have a following, good or bad, and didn't want to goose any IPO initial pricing by attracting attention to this nifty stock, which, not only have I invested in, but also short term trade, always from the long side on good TA supported buying ops.

Selfish, eh?(grin)

RE: their Partnering w/ATT to which you refer...
interesting thot...
however, I'd like to remind you...CSN is in deep competition at all times w/Time Warner in their "local" market. Therefore, I do believe that any attempt to acquire CSN AFTER the spin-off would meet quite active bidding, frankly.

What drew your attention to CSN? I always like to hear other investors' stories of how they get attracted to an "unsung hero" stock.
