Huh...even without a floppy drive the iMac is still more expandable, at least in terms of memory, than the Presario.

And the Presario is, as anyone who saw the broadcast today knows, bulky and ugly. Who ever said you had to sacrifice your sense of style in order to browse the Internet or write a document?

Geez, get creative.

Mark

Well, so what you are saying is that for the same price, Apple
can give you 1.5-2x the processor power (G3, cache), larger
hard drive, faster CD-ROM, ethernet, likely better monitor. Hmmm.
Sounds like Compaq is going to have to shave its margins even
thinner...

Hello to you sir. Here's an actual quote for a Presario 4540, which is actually a dollar cheaper ($1298).

So... I save a dollar, and get less than half the performance/value. Are you serious?

So what? The Compaqs are a piece of shit. I wouldn't put a Compaq on my desk. They look horrible. ___ Hello to you sir. Here's an actual quote for a Presario 4540, which is actually a dollar cheaper ($1298). Presario 4540: $949(system) + $349(monitor) Suggested Retail Price
