Development of its Global InterNetwork(SM) Project

FAIRFIELD, Iowa--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 7, 1998-- USA Global Link,
Inc., the world's largest provider of discount international
telecommunications services, announced today that R.C. Mark Baker has joined the
company as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Mr. Baker, formerly a member of
the senior management team of AT&T, and Executive Vice President,
International, will assume the new position at USA Global Link almost immediately.
