I did. I compared hd , ram, modem, etc as best as I could. there were slight differences that offset each other. (IMHO)

don't get me wrong. I am not necessarily saying that Dell is much more expensive than US products. I am pointing out that Japans economy is garbage and so is the currency so they are beginning to react as they did in the 60's & 70's. They are talking advantage of the cheap yen to sell their products. According to the numbers I got from the retailer who sold me my product they sold a lot of these computers.
