SNET changes pay phone rates
SNET now charges .25 for 3 min and I think its .10 a minute after that for local calls, .25 for 411 info call. now doesn't that make land lines a bit expensive? I think a lot of people with pagers are going to be thinking NEXTEL!! jimmyo no more free lunches! ( welcome aboard Dan and everyone!)

Daniel,

You read 150 posts and your wondering about upset people?

How about the subject at hand?

Why do you like Nextel and their stock?

Ron

Dan G: Where are you in this picture, with Al or with staying put?

I'm just curious, in your post you said "just one thing" but you mentioned two, Ed and I. You might have it wrong, Ed is still on the fence, in what county, who knows. Al is in the saddle riding out of town, it's just hard when it entails leaving old friends behind.

I also like Nextel...But, if you did read 150 post then you would of seen my date of April 7th as a top..And since then the stock has dropped from 34 to the present price..Since I didn't go short, I see no reason to buy the stock at this time. Nextel corrected the move with a 50 % retracement to 28 now we are doing the market dip.. After this I may take a position..But, my upside is no where near the upside that is talked about on this BB.
There is massive over head resistance...People just wanting to get even. This will not be a walk in the park..By the time Nextel works off this resistance, we should be ready for a correction instead of these little dips. Its still is a good trading stock.
If you look at a chart, you will see a window, that window is the gap up on the S&P news..That window is sucking this stock down..
Watch the vol. that is the key..
Good luck
Ed
