OUCH! Ugly picture! What would this world do without Jesus?

I believe the brave new world you describe is within our generation. The credit, stock market, and other human excesses that are present at this time rival, and in my eyes greatly exceed the Roaring 20's.

Here is an excerpt about Charlemagne, since he wore the crown of the 1st Reich and the set the foundation for the true rebuilding of the Roman Empire.

"By the sword and the cross," he became master of Western Europe.

Must have been a deceptively sweet guy, with blonde hair and a silver tongue. People bowed before him as he was the church and the state.

However, as in this quote, he served two masters, so in reality He only served one.
