Mike, you are right. Nam Tai does not trade on a Canadian exchange so the securities regulators would be of no use. If it did, and they had jurisdiction, you would still be better off under SEC rules. The Canadian system is vastly inferior to the US SEC and is in many ways, IMO, a joke. It is only as good as it is because of pressure from the US. As a Canadian citizen, I am grateful for that.
