(a) MSFT makes non material concession and windows98 ships
on time.

(b) MSFT reaches 100 by July at the latest.

If MSFT does drop to below 80, you can consider sell JAN2000@90 PUT (LMFMR) for 19, and use the premium to buy JAN2000@80 CALL(LMFAP).

Gerald, RE: LEAP candidates

Personally, I like the Jan99 95s & Jan00 100s. The 2001 LEAPS will be available after the May options expire. MSFT is a cycle 1 company I believe. You can download a spreadsheet from CBOE.COM to verify availablity of 2001 LEAPS. The closer to 80 it gets the happier I'll be.
