The Year 2000 Problem Is Receiving An Exponential Increase In Media Coverage

by Steven Woas

To give a better perspective of the media coverage of Y2K I compared the number of articles at the Year 2000 Press Clippings site year2000.com for April 1997 vs April 1998.

In April 1997 there were 50 articles for an average of 1.66 Article Per Day

In April 1998 there were 593 articles for an average of 19.76 Articles Per Day

The year 2000 problem is definitely becoming more and more popular. The question is "When will it translate to higher Y2K stock prices?"

Good Investing,

Steve
