BOCB 3 cents above..ALI.. 1 cent above both on 'earnings plays' watch list reported and were above expectations. PLB on general watch list last week was raised to outperform by Morgan Stanley. TAD (tadiran) A stock I've owned 14 years initiated as a BUY, UNH on earnings list one cent above (this one is overbought however)

LONDON, May 7 (Reuters) - Robert Fleming Securities said it was initiating coverage of leading Israeli electronics company Tadiran Ltd <TAD.TA> with a buy recommendation.
The broker said in a note that the turnaround at the firm's military subsidiaries was well underway and would provide increasing contributions to profits in the coming years.
Bottom line growth would be held back over the next two years by the loss of profitable revenues at Tallacom, offsetting robust growth in the core business.
But Flemings said Tadiran represented good value at current prices with the shares trading at a big discount to the market and comparative stocks on 10.2 times 1998 earnings and 9.9 times 1999 versus the market average of 14.5 times for 1998.
