I fully agree with you: If anything, 10% should go to the national deficit and 90% to measures for anti-teen smoking and health care costs... although I'm skeptical that one can fight teen smoking by simply banning ads and raising prices, but I'd be willing to give it a try allright.

The newest bipartisan bill so evidently shows that it's NOT about health, but money only - and the White House still dares to call it otherwise. What a scam!

Relax. The scenario of a surge ( like AT@T last summer ) this summer is on track. It appears that nothing will be passed by Congress on tobacco legislation this year. It's all a lot of hot air. Again, just wait till Congress takes its summer recess. The big conservative safe money is just waiting to enter MO. Be patient. We all know what Congress and the Gov't is all about.
