I don't like the attacks either, but i find it rather odd that Valuespec would post in the morning saying he loved the stock, post later in the day saying he had sold a portion of his holdings, and then post for a third time, saying he had listened to the conference call again, and changed his mind again. If someone is on the thread touting a stock, then I think the person's credibility is appropriate for discussion.

One of the most important things which was discussed during the conference call has not been mentioned on this thread. Cendant cannot buy back its own stock until the audit is complete (individual management also cannot buy). When the audit is completed, it will be critical to see if Cendant starts buying back its stock. If management truly thinks the stock is undervalued, they will buy it in and help drive up the stock price. If management chooses not to buy back stock with the "several hundred million" dollars Henry said they have on hand, then I will see that as a very negative statement.
