San Diego Biotech Investment Fieldtrip June 2-5 Features Visits To 12 Companies Event Includes an Opening Address on HIV by a Researcher from The Salk Institute and a Scientific Panel Discussion at The Scripps Research Institute SAN MATEO, Calif., May 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The fourth annual San Diego Biotech Investment Fieldtrip will be held Tuesday, June 2 through Friday, June 5 at the San Diego Marriott La Jolla Hotel. The invitation-only event gives analysts and portfolio managers the opportunity to meet with the management and scientific staff of 16 biotechnology companies at their facilities. This year's format will feature 12 site visits at the companies and additional presentations at the hotel by four companies. The 12 companies hosting site visits include: Agouron Pharmaceuticals, Inc.; Alliance Pharmaceutical Corp.; Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Inc.; Aurora Biosciences Corporation; Corvas International, Inc.; Dura Pharmaceuticals, Inc.; Genetronics Biomedical Ltd.; IDEC Pharmaceuticals; Isis Pharmaceuticals, Inc.; La Jolla Pharmaceutical Company; Ligand Pharmaceuticals Incorporated; and Neurocrine Biosciences Inc.
