Plus, with the recent high winds there hasn't been any exploration flying for anyone for the past few days. In addition, the wind generally blows from the NW which puts the smoke over Ashton and the whole Craton.
On the plus side. The winds shifted and are blowing from the S-SE today so at least we can see and breath here in Edmonton again.
On the negative side, Swan Hills is still under an evacuation order and many roads in the area are still closed.

And this too, will pass.

JP we Know we need rain but those fires are along way from ashton

as long as we don't get any thunder storms with heavy lighting we'll be okay there will be lots of problems across Canada if we don't get any rain

Supposed to rain Sunday. Skies are clearing up at least.Lots of oil companies shut down their sites by request.
