Do yuo really find stocks volatile enough on a regular basis?

Yep ...

Howlong do yuo usually hold each stock?

Most I hold after I BTS in the hopes they take off and run. How ever if they shoot themselves in the foot ... cya I go to another one. TNRG I BTSed and was chomping for the Navy deal ... well no deal so I sold and took the money and put in my longs.

The volume on MIDL was only 500 today. Is that unusual?

Yep

Are the four stocks mentioned at the top of this page, CNHH, MIDL, AVBC, and SURG still the mainstays of what you are involved in?

ABSOLUTELY!!! BTSed SURG and it has not fallen back ... MIDL I will not sell regardless that is a hold because of the Unfair advantage and industry.. CNHH just waiting patiently AVBC I just accumulated more today .. I do day trade with money and I take the profits and move them to my Longs. I have always said 75% longs and 25 BTS & 10% day momentum money.

When investing USE common sense. NOTHING is cast in concrete. If you know you have a stock (LONG) about to define itself why hold money in a BTS that is laying dormant. The main purpose for BTS is if one takes off and runs you got free shares. Since no one can guess the market and just as sure as heck if you sell off the dang thing runs thought the roof you kick yourself..

ALWAYS use common sense and if it does not absolutely meet my seven guidelines I will BTS it.
