Yes, Martin...Alliance ads are great, innovative. They use quality bit actors who can really portray emotion. One of my favorites was the one where the 'kid' tells his retirement-age folks that he can't be there for them, but there are plenty of jobs around for older people. 'Get out there and make me proud!' What a look of bewilderment on the parents' faces. I loved that commercial! Because the 'kid' looks just like an acquaintance of mine who could easily be saying that to his own parents. I'm glad you thought to mention Alliance, Martin.

Crappy job of news reporting! I thought TV could provide nearly instant updates of news items of interest to the general public. Some guy just posted on Microsoft thread that states' Attorneys General have decided not to push forward with their case against the software company. As usual, NO information on CNBC. I don't know if the guy on SI is kidding or not, but I DO know I cannot trust CNBC to be on top of things. Too busy talking about Clinton's penis or some other fluff filler. The CNBC pledge -- No matter what's going on in the world, don't miss a commercial. Does anyone share my frustration, PW.

P.S. Story on Reuters at 10:33 -- Thanks CNBC.
