Good idea. We can have the "Rookie Thread Moron" league. If there are enough rookies, we can organize into Class A, AA, AAA. They can get their seasoning in the minors, perhaps a little tutoring from the big boys, and then move up.

Hey, why not a Fantasy Thread Moron league? I've never been involved in fantasy leagues before. How do you keep everyone from choosing R*ley or Myr*n?

Yes, jhild, the true sign of an up-and-coming thread moron. The use of the "@" to disguise various offensive words, such as:

1) You pr@ck,
2) You d@ing-d@ng

Wooooops, messed up on number 2. I sure hope SI doesn't kick me off!!

and so on. What we are looking for in a major league thread moron, is the ability not only to use "@" but to incorporate it in long lines of jibberish, such as:

"You lilly-livered wannabee, you pr@ck, why don't you take your cr@p and spew it from the highest mountains [sic] top, you .. I know James Stockpusher, James Stockpusher, is a friend of mine, and you're no James Stockpusher".

We should adopt a five step rule for admittance into the club. This will separate the men from the boys.

jhild,
I agree that it will pay off handsomely to keep one's eyes out for 'great future prospects' . In that vein, I'm keeping my eye on the author of the following lines (from separate posts):
This message is a disclaimer that I can't really explain the reason why I'm posting.
You have to be stiffing glue!
Yes we are all individuals.
So Skepticism is welcome.
I also see great potential in posters whose main contribution consists of "(ggg)" and "(hehehee)". I am somewhat troubled that many of these posts appear on threads where the posters are actively engaged in congratulating one another on how much smarter they are on their thread, than the morons on that other thread; but I believe this is an anomalous coincidence to our own endeavors ... (ggg)...(hehehee).
