Information is power! If TSIS was fully reporting, and all the info easy to get, the stock would not be at .66. When the info and news are out there, TSIS price will rise to meet the value of that new information. Those of us investing in TSIS at this level are taking on the added risk of a lower amount of information than some like, but the rewards are greater. We all must find our own information/risk/reward level.

I think it's great you called "20 companies today", investigating a company that you don't plan to invest in. Because you claim to have found little interest in TSIS services, are you saying that AT&T, and Lucent, and Seagate, and the other Fortune 500 clients are dumb to have bought TSIS services? Seems a bit...odd...don't you think?

Finally, why do you keep posting here if you don't intend on investing in TSIS? You have every right to post here of course, but don't you have more promising investments to pursue? I for one, and I know I speak for many on this thread, plan on holding TSIS stock for a VERY LONG TIME. Long after enough news and info have come out to make you see that you should have invested early...

Are you certain that you described the TSIS system adequately? Since you cannot know TSIS's costs for implementation, maintenance and ongoing service, there is no way that any IR department could make a rational decision based on your phone calls. AT&T as a major client is very revealing. Here you have one of the nation's largest telecoms providers contracting for telecoms services. Does this tell you anything about the efficiency that TSIS has built into their systems?

Most companies are contracting out non-core services. Witness the proliferation of temp agencies and financial and IT consulting firms. I know that my company is going this route because it pays to do so. The difference here is that the field is largely untouched.

As for the low barriers to entry, you can point to any number of successful empires that have started out this way. It is not terribly expensive to build a fast food joint or an office supply store, but the McDonalds and the Office Depots did pretty well, I think. Granted, quite a number of their competitors fell by the wayside, hence my past warnings about risk in this stock. McDonald's and Office Depot sell consumables. My opinion is that information is now the equivalent of Big Mac. Once people get a reliable product at a low enough cost that is easy to obtain, demand will soar. I presently own only two BB stocks, both of them geared towards provision of information. The other is Financial Intranet (FNTN). Since investors here have shown an interest in this general area, I am sure they will forgive me for mentioning it. Read the SI thread if you are interested.

Of course there will be competition from conventional methods of dissemination, from the internet, from others providing similar, telephone-based services, and from some that I haven't thought of. The point is that TSIS now has a very strong base. As long as they can continue to provide a desirable service at a cost below that of their clients', they will grow rapidly.

You clearly got an old packet. If there is one thing in which the company really needs to clean up their act, it is in this regard. It has happened too many times.

The upcoming quarterly will tell the story. Until then, all we can do is guess. I have heard more opinions regarding fundamentals on this thread than on those dedicated to any other BB stock that I can think of. Some are "fascinated with the story", most here are concerned with the entire picture.

Best of luck in your investing elsewhere. We all have to make our own choices. Once again, on the risk-reward scale, TSIS comes out top of my list, but differing perceptions are what make stock markets.

Your point is well taken. You are shorting TSIS. Glad your last bashing post more or less finally identified you.

I would ask only one question Chaz. Why would AT & T of all people sign up for this service, if they could do it cheaper and or better? Your ramblings makes no sense. Go and short another company because this one will burn you badly in the not too distant future.

John ... may need your help here since you might still have your notes from the meeting. Chaz, there is competition to TSIS - no one is an island in today's competitive world. However, Don Cameron mentioned there were 2 main competitors but that TSIS has the advantage because neither of the competitors offer as complete a service as we do. There are a lot of other things the company does besides the demo line. If you were really interested in doing your homework, you would make a call to Scott Cameron and ask him to explain it to you more fully. In truth, if all the services were so easy to provide, the AT&T (the largest phone company in the world) would not have been using TSIS. And ordering more services. They would have kept it inhouse. However, they have discovered it is less expensive to outsource the teleconferencing, etc. So ... perhaps CPQ is doing some things inhouse, but you obviously do not know the full scope of services offerred, nor are you in a position to call companies asking them of possible interest when you are not thoroughly knowledgable about the operations, costs and services offerred.
TSIS is a great company, ahead of all the competition, and offers significant cost savings to their clients. Otherwise, and according to your statements, companies like Lucent, AT&T, SEagate, Applied Materials, US Post Office, Ascend Communications must be run by idiots .. why else would they sign on!
