Can PFE meet demand for Viagra???

Hilm2 writing on the PFE Motley fool board stated that he was told PFE had a HUGE stockpile of Viagra (I believe 5 billion tabs is memory turned on). But PFE and VIVUS are too very different companies when it comes to backup resources, planning and execution!!!!!!!!!.

>>Does anyone know if Pfizer can meet demand?

- I know it took Vivus about a year until it could ramp up production.

- If the demand for Viagra is 1 mill pills per week; can they produce that many?<<

Shouldn't be a problem producing the pills. The raw materials are all chemical, and chemicals are normally available in abundance. And it should take no time at all for the robotic machinery to produce 24 hours a day if necessary. In short, I don't think demand will be limited by production.
