Steve:During my years of practice the biggest problem from a psychological point of view was the fear of saving a life to only a vegetative state,but if HU-211,helps control intra cranial pressure in the early days of treatment or if Hu-211 helps the protection of brain cells in the early post trauma period then this product will improve the outcome and lessen the possibility of the patient ending in a vegetative or severe dysfunctional state. In other words it would be an important break through in the Management not only of traumatic brain injuries but also stroke victims and brain infection, the mechanism of help would also be similar in spinal cord injuries. PS not stating that these are facts but only possibilities,that have to be evaluated by the Neurosurgical community,its importance is unmeasurable.
