Yesterday I increased my number of AAPL shares by 165% using all my buying power just after the market open. I'd just given up trying to short DELL (too early by the way - got scared when it jumped a dollar in ten minutes at the open) Pretty happy with the result so far. Tokyo APPLE closed at 4000 which is $30.30 approximately. Does anyone know the code for Apple in Frankfurt?

David

>>Oddly the LAAAGs were the worst buy. They're only around what I paid for them! But the LAAADs are doing very well. I'm looking for a point to pick up additional short term and long term options. I wonder if I'll get the opportunity? <<

I've noticed the strange action. Time premiums are very low which implies low volatility (right!). If you look at at AMAT Leaps, Jan 2000 with a strike equal to current mkt the premium is about $11 compared to AAPL premium of $8.

July 25's at 6.25 are only $1 premium over tangible value.

I'm stocked up on LAAAF which falls in the middle of G's and D's. Obviously they have all done better than the stock as a % increase over the last two weeks (as I recommended at that time - pat, pat on the back). I am expecting that by MacWorld the tangible value will increase and the time premium with hold constant. And I would then want to roll out to 40's if they exist???

Hang in there, Linda.
