WSJ reports that using yesterday's prices, the deal was worth $59.38 to Chrysler SH.

Big Premium

Based on Wednesday's closing stock prices, the transaction is valued at
$59.38 a Chrysler share, or $38.3 billion. That represents a huge premium
over Wednesday's closing price, as Chrysler climbed $7.38 to $48.81 in
composite trading. (At one point, Chrysler hit $49, an all-time record.) The
ADRs of Daimler were up $6.50 to $108.56.
