Abraham,

Thanks for the interesting post.

Reuters said this morning that BAAN's trading was halted in Amsterdam for a specified period of time. Any development(s) behind the scene?

TIA,
Ibexx

Fidelity Select Software Fund and SAP
The following excerpt is quoted from an interview with the portfolio manager as published in the Fidelity Select Portfolios Annual Report for year ending February 28, 1998:

Q. Were you attracted to any particular segments within the software or computer services industries?

A. One software sector that continued to grow and perform well was enterprise applications. Enterprise applications help corporations automate the various aspects of their human resources, financial and manufacturing activities. Enterprise application-related stocks--including the large German software company, SAP, and PeopleSoft--benefited from the rapid growth within this area. Enterprise applications is also an area that is still in the early stages of growth, as a lot of companies still have not gotten around to upgrading their mainframe infrastructures.

Real Question: How many ADR's will be in float after a 4:1 split. correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds like it would be 12 times the number of Treasury stock that are Preferered. I mean that they won't issue an ADR against a share of stock that is not owned by the company--Right??
