Thread,

I am thinking about opening a Roth IRA
account for my wife and myself. I understand
that the maximum one can contribute in a year
is $2000/person.

My question is: are we allowed to open an
(Roth IRA) joint account which allows total
contribution of $4000 per year? I haven't been
able to find anything on this subject and hope
to get some help here (I kind of feel that this
is probably not allowed, but want to be sure about it).
Thanks in advance,
facai
