Katherine, Thanks for the response and reminding me about the economics of the 'semiconductor biz!'. I should have known better. ... and yes it does make good sense to devote some R&D resources to further out projects in order to have promising products in the pipeline. Kevin, Thanks for the notes. It seems somewhat strange to announce the project publicly first then to seek partners later. I would have expected Art to line up the key partners, to have a viable project and then to invite others to contribute. The notes almost sound like, "We'll spend $10M if enough of you can get together and provide another $40M". I guess I'm still not particularly excited. ...but I'm slightly less disappointed. Ian
