Perhaps his complaint should simply be that the customer service rep simply didn't have a clue. Checking "All or None" on a market order will return an error message, BTW. The rep should know this (as well as the fact that you can't cancel a mkt order), but from my experience, many of them know very little and those are usually the ones with the most attitude. To be fair, others are both knowledgeable and polite, but unfortunately you don't get a choice of reps when you call in.
