Is that from personal experience or are you a windows-weenie. I've been in this field for 25+ yrs and in PC development since MSFT was a penny stock. OS/2 did not fail because window 3.0 was superior, Navigator isn't faultering because IE is such a kickass product in comparison. Microsoft puts out garbage, especially .0 releases, they always have but it's gotten worse because now they can. They are just as much, or more so, a monopoly as IBM was in the 60's. There are alot of companies that made billions writing better compilers, better sorters better everything than IBM but they had to wait for the breakup of IBM products from machines to do it.
