Under the topic of Market Maker's 101:

When the spread between the bid and ask is this like it is now with the ask several cents higher, it is meant by the market makers as a scare to the weary investor that does not understand how the game is played. Some investors take this as a signal to sell, this is the intended plan of the market makers! But, in reality it is a definite signal the market ask is headed higher. Watch and see it happen.

What I want to point out is don't be scared off by their tactics and sell. This is exactly what they want... they need inventory and badly because the smart money is holding.

This is something I learned from a very shrewd trader and I just wanted to share it with everyone.

I would have preferred to post it to Dusty's Den but those who need it most may not see it there.

It's a Largo Day everyday at my house!

Dusty :o)

Hey Dusty - Those "good old days" weren't very long ago.
Now I see the bid/ask getting wider at .43/.49. How often can you buy a stock at these prices that is making money? (At least that is what we assume.) I told someone in a private email yesterday that my shares won't be going anywhere even WHEN it becomes a 10 bagger.

Have a good one. : )
