Perfect response...

Only thing I would add is.. as David says.. they are more than happy to move out of the way on news days. What people need to understand is.. not only do MM's benefit from volume, they also are allowed to hold stock for personal gain. For example, they can be buying at 1.50 today.. or whatever price they lower it too eventually, and then sell it back to the market on a spike to $3.00. They usually dont hold shares too long, because its risky, but they dont ONLY make money on volume...

Second, as for the price... we have lack of buyers because of the exchange we are on. People's interest are very short term here... if they see a downswing they immediately sell to protect profits and move to the next "golden egg". This works exactly into the MM's hands, as on any low volume day they can walk the price down. But when the days come where you have overwheliming buying pressure and upward movement (big news days) then you see a swarm of "investors" (I use that word with sarcasm on OTC-BB) rush back in... and the price move in accordance.
