>>If the Japanese market debacle over the last 10 years has not significantly impacted the US market, why should the Korean market significantly influence the US market?<<

I2,
Excellant question and very well put. My answer is "I don't know." All I do know is that when the s____t hit the fan, the third week in October last year, I lost a lot of money. I had been following the "crisis" for a solid 4 months PREVIOUS to the crash and I used too much logic and did nothing. Hindsight, I was an idiot. I could spout off a bunch of "facts" saying one thing, then a bunch more saying another, not getting anywhere.

But now (after my learning experience), I'm just assumming that if the media (analyst, money managers, reporters) jumps on the SEA bandwagon once again, then we will see a correction. But don't get me wrong, I think (contrary to the Contrarian, Bill Fleckenstein) that it will only be a "correction." Nothing more. He sees the end of the markets for a long time. I only see a correction. All IMHO of course.

Hope this helps,
MikeM(From Florida)
