Scott, Re: >"Some boiler room sleazeballs pushing BORL, er INPR, onto clueless people, who are bound to be iratewhen the promised miraculous gains do not materialize. This would certainly give the company a bad name, when they are trying so hard to present a new image."<

With market momentum seemingly in a short term downtrend due to Fed & Japan near term worries, could it be that they are trying to prevent BORL/INPR from taking a deep hit if market does? They may have just put some big bucks into the stock and realize market may may be ready to dive SHORT TERM!

FWIW if Inprise pulls off the tranformation successfully, 18 by this time next year is not out of the question.

RE: This would certainly give the company a bad name
Not sure if I could care too much about the opinions of people who buy stocks this way. Since the company is reinventing its products, it is the opinions of the CIOs/developers that matter. Those people who buy the stock for instant riches are fools and will be disappointed but this won't change the fundamentals of the company (not stock) or give the company a bad name. The company, being a turnaround play, is really on its own to thrive or collapse - opinions of traders/speculators are quite immaterial.

It is institutions who will dictate the intermediate/long term upward move of the stock. They aren't in now and they have to buy the story. One year down the road we shall have to see how this pans out.

Shane.
