6 million shares of what stock? ASND has so far traded only 1.9 million.

Yep, saw the big block sells in COMS this morning on my real time quote system including the 6 million block dump (although the vociferous 3COM bulls insist it was a buy, looked a sell to me as the trade tick arrow was down). Street realizing that 3COMs strategy of avoiding Cisco will drive to feed on left over low margin scraps in the networking business. Ascend seems like the only other networker with a focus on the higher margin business namely WAN switching. BAY and COMS are battling out at the lower end with PEs like 20 being awarded to them. -hitesh
